This formula contains hopein, from the hop plant, an active phytochemical belonging to a new class of phytoestrogens known as prenylflavonoids, together with isoflavones from soy, which are highly valued phytonutrients used traditionally to support hormonal balance.

MenoHop may be ideal for supporting female hormone balance in women beyond their childbearing years and may facilitate a calm transition through the menopause.

Soy has long been regarded as the best dietary source of phytoestrogens available, supplying generous quantities of the potent oestrogenic compound genistein amongst others. It now seems that hops may provide an even stronger natural phytoestrogen as hopein. MenoHop provides a combination of both soy and hops phytoestrogens.

MenoHop contains the bioactive prenylflavonoids from hops (Humulus lupulus), as active aglycones, which are not bound to sugars, and as a result can immediately be absorbed in the body. Each capsule contains 200mg of hops extract which provides 200µg of hopein, also known as 8-prenylnaringenin.

Traditionally, hops has a history of use with helping women maintain a calm and comfortable menopause. Hops may also have a soothing effect on the nervous system and may also promote good sleep as well as having a positive impact on cholesterol.

MenoHop provides a full spectrum of isoflavones, from soybean extract, that is not genetically modified (non-GMO). This includes genistein, daidzein, glycitein, genistin and daidzin. Each capsule contains 50mg of soybean extract which provides 20mg of isoflavones.

All that is needed is one capsule a day of MenoHop. This formulation is suitable for vegetarians and vegans if the capsule is removed.
