Quercetin Plus is a bio-effective allergy and immune support complex, with quercetin, vitamin C, bromelain, beta glucan and luteolin. These ingredients work together to provide powerful yet natural support for your body, helping to balance an overactive immune response. 

What is histamine?
Our immune system is designed to protect us against genuine threats to our health, such as bacteria, viruses and parasites. Sometimes it can develop an overreaction to certain chemicals in the environment such as pollen, animal fur and dust mites. When this happens, the chemical histamine is released by mast cells, which are part of the immune system, resulting in uncomfortable symptoms such as itching, swelling, sneezing, and watery eyes.

What is quercetin?
Quercetin (Saphora japonica) is a natural flavonoid found in a range of fruits and vegetables with antioxidant and antihistamine properties. It helps to support mast cell stability, inhibiting them form releasing histamine, and ensuring a balanced immune response.

What are the benefits of liposomal quercetin?
Many quercetin products available are not liposomal and use large amounts of poorly absorbed quercetin. Our liposomal quercetin is contained in a protective phospholipid coating, resulting in very small particles that are easily absorbed in the gut and into cells. Our quercetin is therefore many times more effective than a standard product, even at lower doses.
