Oregano Oil is derived from wild oregano, native to the Mediterranean. The flowers and leaves are harvested when the oil content of the leaves is at its highest.
The active ingredients in oregano oil are Thymol and Carvacrol. Other compounds include Terpenes, Rosmarinic acid, Naringin, and Beta-caryophyllin and the A, B3, C and E vitamins. Zinc, Magnesium , Manganese and Iron are also found in Oregano oil.
