Jarrah honey is Australia’s dark and syrupy honey with a lovely caramel taste. It has a powerful antibacterial activity. More antioxidants than Manuka & low GI.
This honey is from the Eucalyptus Marginata, a species unique to a specific area of protected forest in Western Australia. The natural composition and high antimicrobial properties, measured by its TA (Total Activity), makes Jarrah a natural powerful healer which can inhibit bacterial growth, reduce infections and enhance healing.
Jarrah Honey it is not as sweet as other honeys due to its low glucose and high fructose levels but perfect to use as a natural sweetener to maintain a healthy lifestyle, boost your immune system and raise energy levels naturally.
The majestic Jarrah tree, which reaches over 40 metres high, can live for over 1000 years, but it only flowers once every 2 years which is why Jarrah honey is rare. This honey is also from an area considered to be one of the most disease and pest free areas in the world and no insecticides or pesticides are used in these apiaries.
Necta & Hive supply some of the best active honeys the world has to offer. The honey they source often comes from remote and protected locations where apiaries are kept away from chemicals and pests, so the honey you receive is as pure as it comes.
Necta & Hive honeys are extremely rare and have unique properties from lower glucose levels to anti-inflammatory properties. Although you can also use the honey in food and drinks as you would other honeys.
All Necta & Hive honeys are independently tested by an accredited laboratory to determine Total Activity levels so you can be confident of the integrity, quality and traceability.
Suitable for pregnancy and breast feeding. Like all honey, please wait to give this to babies until they have reached one year.

This honey is so delicious. It has a lovely caramel flavour that is really unique. My children love it over their porridge or natural yoghurt, so the flavour is mild enough for children to love too.
